THIS IS LATIN AMERICA (LATIN AMERICA REVIEW)
Latin America, surrounded by 3 oceans and 14 seas, is a region with the most diverse marine ecosystems, due to the wide extension of its coasts and the different climates and temperatures, from the tropical heat to the gelid southern waters.
Considering that about 60% of the world's terrestrial, marine and freshwater life is found in this region (UNEP Statistics, 2020), the marine resource potential of Latin America is enormous. It includes marine flora and fauna from the tropical and Antarctic seas, from the Atlantic coasts to the east, and from the Pacific to the west, extending all the way to the South Pole.
Our seas, brimming with life, will continue to be the natural route that welcomes successive caravans of ships, diverse in their type and size, which keep international logistic traffic alive, and which, in their eternal wandering through the seas of the planet, not only share the products of our “America Morena”, but also our culture and our most beautiful dreams.
