RED MAMLa PARTICIPATES IN THE INAUGURAL PANEL OF TOC AMERICAS 2023

The TOC Americas 2023 Conference was held at the Panama Convention Center, an event dedicated to the maritime and logistics sector that brings together various industry players, where carriers, logistics providers, shipping lines, 3PLs, port authorities and terminal operators reviewed methodologies to apply improvements in the evolution of the supply chain.

This exhibition is held annually to learn, discuss and collaborate on the various strategies and best practices applied in the transformation of the maritime industry and the new challenges to be faced in the future.

Red MAMLa participated in the inaugural conference through Elvia Bustavino, Deputy Administrator of the Panama Maritime Authority and President of our organisation. In her speech, she highlighted the importance of maritime trade relations in Latin America, noting that "...through our strategic alliances, we ensure that everything is viable and we always keep in mind in our daily operations the commitment to environmental, economic and social sustainability".

The challenges of sustainability and climate change were also mentioned, where it is clear that a regulatory framework is essential for maritime operators and the authorities of each country to work together to achieve the best results.

Finally, Elvia Bustavino expressed that "... the selection of Panama as the main venue for the seventh TOC Americas 2023, with more than four decades of experience in the maritime and port industry, is an invaluable honour as it continues to consolidate Panama's strategic position in the global maritime industry".
