With the aim of recognizing and honoring the work, leadership and commitment of women in the maritime, port and related fields, the discussion “Sailing together, an ocean of opportunities for women” was held, an event that brought together leading professionals in the sector.
The Maritime Governorate of Talcahuano commemorated International Women's Day in the Maritime Sector with a discussion focused on making female leadership visible and promoting gender equity in the port industry. The activity, held in the Chamber of Officials of the Port Authority, brought together representatives of the academic, business and naval spheres.
As part of the activities in the framework of the International Women's Day in the Maritime Sector, the Maritime Authority of Honduras held a commemorative lunch to recognize the work of its collaborators and highlight their daily contribution to the development of the national maritime sector.
The Latin American Network of Women Maritime Authorities ( Red MAMLa) marked a significant milestone by presenting, within the framework of the 75th session of the Committee on Technical Cooperation of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the achievements reached during the VII Regional Conference and VI General Assembly held in December 2024.
