RED MAMLa CUBA HELD ITS THIRD ANNUAL MEETING 2025 AT THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE CUBAN REGISTRY OF SHIPS
The Latin America Women in Maritime Authorities Association (Red MAMLa) in Cuba held its third meeting of the year 2025 at the headquarters of the Classification Society Cuban Registry of Ships, as part of its commitment to the visibility, articulation and strengthening of the female presence in the maritime sector and related industries.
The Latin American Maritime Authorities Women's Network (Red MAMLa) celebrates a significant step forward in its mission to strengthen women's presence and leadership in the maritime-logistics sector by signing a Letter of Intent with the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA).

This June, Captain Maria Cecilia T. de Castro, representative of the Brazilian Maritime Authority, was the speaker at the WISTA Environmental Masterclass, with the theme: "Biofouling on Ships: Operational and Biosafety Issues".
The Latin America Women in Maritime Authorities Association (Red MAMLa) successfully held its Extraordinary Assembly, with the unanimous participation of representatives of the 19 member states that make up this regional initiative.
