The Presidency of Red MAMLa was pleased to participate in an interview in the framework of the survey being conducted by the IMO Technical Cooperation Committee, as part of the strategic evaluation of its technical cooperation for its 75th session.
From March 10-13, 2025, in Bali-Indonesia, TNNV-GC Daniela Andrade, Permanent Representative of Ecuador to the Red MAMLa, had the honor of representing her State, as Lead Partner Country (LPC) of the Project, at the 3rd Global Working Group Meeting of the GEF-UNDP-IMO GloFouling Partnerships Project.
Red MAMLa had an outstanding participation in the First Regional Workshop on Decarbonization of Maritime Transport held at the Panama International Maritime University (UMIP). The event, which brought together key experts and authorities from the maritime sector, focused on energy efficiency technology solutions to move towards more sustainable shipping.
First Lieutenant Litoral Paula Carrasco Martínez, a member of Chile's General Directorate of Maritime Territory and Merchant Marine (DIRECTEMAR), actively participated in the Peace Mission in Colombia. This mission, organized under international mandates, aims to verify compliance with the agreements reached during the peace process between the Colombian government and insurgent groups.
