MANAGEMENT 2022 - 2024: NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

On December 20, Red MAMLa, sponsored by the International Maritime Organization, began a new voyage, since Mrs. Elvia Bustavino, from the Panama Maritime Authority, was elected as the new President of the Organization by unanimous vote of the Member States during the closing day of the IV Regional Conference and III General Assembly of the Association, within the framework of the celebration of our 4th Anniversary.

Mrs. Bustavino, ratifies her commitment to this position, expressing that with the support of her new Executive Committee, she is sure that all will contribute to make her administration a period in which the legacy left by the previous Presidency by Mrs. Paula Pérez of DIMAR (Colombia) will be maintained and at the same time, it will be a promising time to take the Network to unimaginable spaces, giving it all the scope and projection required so that our girls, young women and maritime women of the region know that they are not alone.

Likewise, she expresses her gratitude and congratulations to all the distinguished MAMLas who have reached safe harbor after great dedication and efforts made during their actions in the Network.

She also extends the same sentiment to those who will accompany her as Directors of the Task Committees.
