COOPERATION AGREEMENT SIGNED BETWEEN THE UMP OF MEXICO AND MSC BC

In a recent event, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Maritime and Port University of Mexico and the Marine Supply Chain Business Connection (MSC BC). This agreement aims to strengthen the inter-institutional relationship and promote education and training in the merchant marine and maritime transportation sector. The signing of the agreement was an important step to join efforts in the training of professionals in the maritime sector at the national and international levels.

During the event, the professionalism and values of the Ministry of the Navy, represented by Rear Admiral Carlos Alberto Gomez, and the Maritime and Port University of Mexico, headed by Engineer Victor Pineda, were recognized. Both institutions have demonstrated a solid commitment to the sector, and their collaboration has been key to consolidating this agreement, which will allow important objectives to be achieved in the short and medium term.

The collaboration between the Maritime and Port University of Mexico, MSC BC and other international players, such as the Panama team, was highlighted as a strategy to generate important advances in the maritime sector. The synergy between experience, commitment and willingness will be crucial to increase the development and confidence of operational personnel, with the aim of strengthening the maritime industry in Mexico and abroad.

The event also included a recognition of Engineer Victor Pineda and his team for their outstanding work at the helm of the Maritime University, as well as the support provided by the Ministry of the Navy, led by Rear Admiral Gomez. The presence of Lieutenant Paulina Vázquez Contreras, who represents with dignity the Secretariat of the Navy and the Red MAMLA, was also acknowledged. The event consolidated an alliance that promises to have a positive impact on the development of the maritime sector in the region.
