RED MAMLa: CLOSING OF THE III REGIONAL CONFERENCE AND II GENERAL ASSEMBLY
On April 30, at 08:30 AM (Panama time), the Agenda for the closing of the III Regional Conference and II General Assembly of the Latin America Women Maritime Authorities Association - Red MAMLa began.
The event was attended by the 18 Member States and the Executive Committee of the organization. Also participating were the IMO Representative, Mr. Carlos Salgado; the Executive Director of COCATRAM, Mr. Otto Noack; the Director of DIMAR-Colombia, Vice Admiral Juan Francisco Herrera Leal, and the Director of DPC-Brazil, Vice Admiral Alexandre Cursino de Oliveira.
Association President, Mrs. Paula Pérez, gave the welcoming remarks. Afterwards, the General Coordinator, Mrs. Elvia Bustavino, proceeded to read the Final Report, where the most relevant achievements were the creation of 3 new committees and the updating of the Organization's By-laws.

ASSEMBLY CLOSING CEREMONY
The conclusions and resolutions were in charge of the President of Red MAMLa, bringing the III Regional Conference and II General Assembly to an end, successfully sealing 5 sessions of hard work, where the representatives expressed their satisfaction and gratification for being part of an enhancing meeting based on the exchange of experiences, with the objective of consolidating a more inclusive organization, with more qualified, visible, recognized and empowered women.
