COFFEE WITH MAMLa: CREATING VALUE THROUGH PERSONAL BRANDING
Last Friday, November 17, the Network of Women Maritime Authorities of Latin America - MAMLa Network held a new version of the event Coffee with MAMLa.
This meeting was an opportunity to talk about personal branding and communication skills as a key element in personal and professional positioning.
The event was opened by the President of the Network, Elvia Bustavino with the participation of:
Paola Lattuada, Alternate Member, Bachelor in Public Relations from the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa, with a Postgraduate Degree in Training and Development of Human Resources from the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Buenos Aires, and a Master in Institutional Communication Management from the University of Business and Social Sciences. She is also a communications consultant and runs her own consulting firm: COMLat Comunicaciones.
Lisbeth Tomas Fuller, Associate Member, Psychologist, Executive Coach, Speaker and Mentor to women entrepreneurs and leaders. She currently serves as Director of People and Training at APM Terminals.
- Paola Lattuada, with her talk “At the helm of your Personal Brand”, gave us 8 steps to manage your personal brand with assertiveness and to be able to generate confidence in the environments in which we operate, according to our uniqueness.
- Lisbeth Tomas, through her presentation “Comunica-Te”, shared her PCEA method: Positioning, Context, Expectation, Alignment, with which we can better carry the message we want to where we want to take it. In this process, the coherence and connection between the rational part and the emotions is very important, allowing us to speak with greater empathy.
Thus, the Mentoring Committee of the Association, organizer of this event, seeks to promote the development of soft skills as an important element for women and participants to communicate clearly and assertively as an enhancer to position ideas, create a powerful and professional image, which positively influences how we relate.
The above, considering that it is essential to provide adequate tools to facilitate the process and therefore, Red MAMLa created this online event (Coffee with MAMLa) as a platform to promote effective communication, professional development of communication skills and awareness of personal branding as the most valuable asset that each person has.
