RED MAMLA REPRESENTATIVES AS SPEAKERS AT REPICA NICARAGUA

During the Port Meeting of the Central American Isthmus (REPICA) held in Managua, Nicaragua, representatives of Red MAMLa shared their point of view.

Elvia Bustavino, our Permanent Representative to Panama, President of this Association and Deputy Administrator of the Panamanian Maritime Authority, addressed the attendees as part of the panel "Digitalization and Port Automation" and the topic: "Panama Maritime Single Window".

Likewise, María Isabel López, our Permanent Representative to Nicaragua and Head of the Department of Seafarers, General Directorate of Maritime Transport of Nicaragua, shared her vision with the conference: "50 Years of MARPOL: Our Commitment Continues", as well as in the panel: "Generational Development of Human Resources in the Central American Port System" with the theme: "The Participation of Women in the Maritime Port Sector of Nicaragua".

REPICA was held from September 25 to 29 at the Olof Palme Convention Center in Managua and was attended by more than 150 people, including port managers and administrators, representatives of the Ministries of Transport, port authorities and companies, related entities and those interested in the maritime port industry.
