RED MAMLa SIGNS COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE SPANISH MARITIME INSTITUTE
The President of Red MAMLa, Elvia Bustavino, signs a mutual collaboration agreement with Mercedes Pardo CEO of the Spanish Maritime Institute - IME to cooperate on technical issues, training, blue economy, among others, for a term of 5 years.
It should be noted that the IME was formed in 1984 for the promotion of training in the maritime sector through training programs configured in Master Programs, Specialist, Monographic and Training in Company, and that, since its inception is actively involved in consulting both nationally and internationally in the maritime, port and logistics sector.
Regarding this alliance, both organizations indicated their interest in establishing clear general guidelines that will serve as a basis for developing a common plan and periodically defining the specific agreements necessary to carry out joint activities in the field of teaching, consulting, training and monitoring of results.
Among the activities of mutual commitment, the following stand out:
- Cooperate in specific consultancy programs, related to topics of interest to both organizations.
- Facilitate the participation of members of both organizations in seminars and other complementary programs.
- To seek the joint organization of events and activities such as: congresses, seminars, symposiums, workshops, conferences, scientific and academic fairs, among others.
- Execution of any other activity considered to be of mutual interest.
The event was also attended by Ana Nieto-Márquez from IME and Michelle Arrocha, General Coordinator of Red MAMLa.
