VII REGIONAL CONFERENCE AND VI GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE RED MAMLa

Red MAMLa will hold the VII Regional Conference and VI General Assembly from 12 to 17 December, 2024, in virtual mode and with the support of the Peruvian Maritime Authority. During the event, the management reports of the different committees will be presented, including technical, social, legal and international cooperation issues. 
There will also be an opportunity to share best practices and strategies for improvement among the Member States of the network, which aims to strengthen the integration and leadership of women in the maritime sector.

The event will be attended by representatives from 19 Latin American and Caribbean countries. Scheduled sessions will include presentations on emerging issues in the maritime industry, strategic partnerships and the role of the Vessel Traffic System (VTS). The Network's strategy for the period 2025-2029 will also be discussed, as well as the creation of subcommittees and the election of new members for the Legal and Communications Committees.
The closing of the conference will coincide with the celebration of the seventh anniversary of Red MAMLa. This special day will include commemorative messages from strategic allies and maritime authorities, as well as reflections on the future of the network.

Closing remarks will be made by Vice Admiral Rodolfo Sablich and Mariana Noceti, representing the International Maritime Organization, highlighting the importance of international cooperation in the sector.
