Regarding the International Maritime Organization's 2025 work agenda, IMO Secretary General Arsenio Dominguez shared the following message: «We start 2025 focusing on three main topics, as we were last year: The first one, seafarers, the second one, security around the globe, and the third one, decarbonization.
We approach the end of 2024 with a deep sense of gratitude for the achievements and collective efforts that have advanced the inclusion and empowerment of women in the maritime sector.
On behalf of the Latin American Network of Women Maritime Authorities, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to our members, strategic partners, Member States, the International Maritime Organization and the Executive Committee for their invaluable support during this year.
The Latin American Network of Women Maritime Authorities (Red MAMLa) celebrated its seventh anniversary with the VII Regional Conference, held in virtual mode. This important meeting brought together authorities, experts and strategic allies of the maritime industry to reflect on the progress achieved and to explore the emerging trends that will define the sector in the coming years.
