Within the Dominican Republic Navy, the Naval Command of Port Captaincy and Maritime Authority is the entity that works to ensure compliance with international laws and conventions in the country's aquatic, coastal and port areas.
Our alternate member Estrellita Encarnación has been working there for more than 3 years.
Within the development of the Work Plan 2022 and in accordance with the objectives and strategic axes of our organization, the signing of the Letter of Intent between the Latin America Women in Maritime Association (Red MAMLa) and the Valencia Port Foundation took place.
In Venezuela, the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces - INEA, is the organization in charge of the compliance of the norms oriented to protect the safety of navigation and maritime traffic, in accordance with the sustainable development of the aquatic sector, actively promoting the preservation and protection of the environment.
The Permanent, Alternate and Associated representation of Red MAMLa attended the Seminar on the Transposition of IMO Instruments into National Legislation and the XXVIII Ordinary Meeting of the Regional Operational Cooperation Network of Maritime Authorities of Central America and the Dominican Republic (ROCRAM-CA), held from May 9 to 13, at the Crown Hotel in Santo Domingo, hosted by the Domin
