Anays Berrocal, Honorary Member of Red MAMLa and Alternate Representative I of Panama to the IMO, has been elected Vice-Chair of this important Committee for the seventy-third session, preceded by Ambassador His Excellency Dwight Gardiner of Antigua and Barbuda.
In Nicaragua, our President, Elvia Bustavino, met with Zayda Muñóz, former representative of Red MAMLa in that country and now director of Business News Group for the United States, to formalize a strategic alliance between the two organizations.
In the framework of the XLV REPICA - Port Meeting of the Central American Isthmus, held in Managua, Republic of Nicaragua, the MAMLa Network obtained the status of Permanent Observer by unanimous vote of all the Owner Members of the Port Authorities of Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and the Dominican Republic.
